Property description

The farm is a rectangular 1 736.0867-hectares allotment, which is externally fenced by game proof fencing. 

 The farm is furthermore divided into 2 inner stock proof- and 1 game camp. 

Water Supply

Water at the farm is sourced from 3 installed boreholes (1 electric submersible pump, 1 solar pump, 1 windmill), and 1 

unequipped borehole, at a depth of 80m, supplying sufficient water to 5 PVC tanks (4x 10 000L & 1x 5000L), ensuring a 

constant water supply to all areas in need.  

The uninstalled new borehole behind the substation yields 80m³/hour .

Water on the farm is sufficient and suitable for human and animal consumption as well as full scale irrigation of ±75 Ha of land.  

The farm falls within the mountain savannah and Karstveld area. The bulk (70%) of the farm can be regarded as flat, with 20% - 30% being hilly to mountainous. 

 Electricity

The subject farm is not connected to the national grid, however, there is a substation and powerlines running across, whereby electricity could be connected on a cost-effective base with relative ease.

 Vegetation 

The vegetation is well suited for cattle, game and small stock farming, which can be regarded as a good mixture for the area .

Climate and Rainfall

Rainy Season: The area is a summer rainfall area with approximately 98% of its rainfall between October and March. 

The annual rainfall varies between 400mm and 550mm. The temperature during summer ranges between 23 – 40 degrees centigrade.
